- The following are important tips to keep in mind when using EXCEL Polyurethane Adhesives.
- Polyurethane (PU) glue is moisture cured. Brushing or misting the surface with water prior to applying the glue will help to ensure a strong bond.
- PU glue need only be applied to one surface.
- PU glue expands (and foams) as it cures, so USE SPARINGLY. A thin film is all that is needed. Too much glue applied will seep out and foam up.
- Only light clamping is needed.
- Depending on the application, PU glue may be spread or applied in a bead.
